The last couple of days have had lots of needles braking. don't you hate that. Hopefully it is just a bad lot of needles.

I am sure you know to do this -- but other new members may not...
Check your bobbin case for burrs. One bad needle can make many needles break later. Careful use of an emery board on the burr can save a trip to the repair shop.

Thankyou I have ordered a new plate and foot as they have been damaged. Sanded back the plate as much as I can and put on my spare foot. Bobbin looks ok, my repair man is 4 hours away ,he does come to Mackay for home visits every couple of months when he gets enough machines booked in, so mine is now on his list, thankyou for you advice. hugs
