she will be very happy with the cap ! Nice color combination too !
I did the monogram, then used one of Britt Designs blank coasters (the smallest) & kept making it smaller until it looked ok. Stitched it out & then cut it out about 1/2 to 1/4 inch outside the satin stitch border. Then pulled threads to make it raggy looking. THEN I used a glue stitck to help hold it to the cap, & some pins, used the same yellow thread to stitch it on inside the border. if you look closely you will see where I didn't exactly get too close to the border! Just don't rush & stitch slowly. Hope this is clear!
Thanks ! This is a good idea. To leave some fabric around the borders and then pull the thread...gone try is too. Thanks for the tip
Heel tof, hoe heb je dat " frissel randje" gedaan ?
I think you are leaving a message for the other Gerry. She speaks Dutch, I'm sorry, I live in the US & can't speak another language, sadly.
yep you are right; I meant : very nice; how did you fix the special border ?
I did figure out the question was about the border! What does "frissel randje" mean. I know I look all ragged when I'm "frazzled!"
Hm that's a difficult question, have no idea how I could translante the "frissel" word. Randje = border, but the other word is more of a dialect I guess.
I thin that it looks terrific Gerry! Well done. Hugs & ** Loralye
Well i love it !!you did a great job and don't let Anyone tell u differently hugs
