Here is the little waist coat to go with the dolly bags .I am pleased withthe way it turned out . I did not have a pattern,I used a small shirt i had given me, cut off the sleeves put a v shape at the front and shaped the v on the bottom.question is should i put button holes and buttons. I am not used to doing them .and it will be very hot on the wedding day as it is in Lanzerote. I am worried in case it spoils it.. what do you think please .

Hugs Pam.

Great job, Pam! I would sew buttons as decorations and snaps inside.

It will be a hit. I agree with awesome1. Make it easy on yourself and sew on buttons to make it look like it is buttoned.

Yes, I would do buttons! If you are skittish about buttonholes, then just sew buttons outside and do closings of snaps or hook & loop tape. IMO, the buttons would ''dress it up" even more. You did a really good job working from shirt pattern--very cute. OH, re the buttons--why not in color to match hankie?
