This is one of the prayer quilts,(not quilted here), that I emb on, for our Women on Mission group to give.I don't know if I have ever shown them??? One lady may donate the top yardage, another a match solid, another the batting, and so on. The women who can sew,pin and place it all together, top, batting and bottom and hem around the outer edge. Then about 5-6" apart they place a tie out of emb floss. It goes to church and is passed around the classes. It has info about the recipant and as you take your turn, you pray for this person, while tying a knot in the floss. Each knot stands for a prayer offered for that person.I also emb the town/state under the FBC, just didn't show that in photo.

Love and prayer and Faith ......Don't get any better. I love hearing healing testimonies from those that receive blankets, shaws, cloths. Like your tying idea.
