any mums out there used the "mothers pouch " its a sheet thing for new baby

my daughter likes them but wants to know if they are anygood .she wants me to make them for her with nice designs

google 'how to make a baby sling' and you will come up with a number of great sites with heaps of free patterns, fabric choices and other helpful details etc. too many for me to try and get for you.

bump. hope someone has used mothers pouch
its a fitted sheet with blanket and sheet all in one like short sheeting the bed so bub can't go under the sheet

Do an internet search Minnie. There are women in Africa who just use a square of cloth and tie it different was so as baby grows you switch from it being cradled on the front to riding on your back. There are LOTS of sites that have them. My daughter had one and loved it....it was the only way she could get any work done!;)

minnie I simply must know more about this. Is it 4 bed or to wear & carry infant. since we have this new GG baby would like to make 4 us all it they r to carry baby with. Im having a lot of problems with arthritis n my r shoulder & this would make it so easy to carry him with. *4U

My sister has a little baby, and loves it. She says the baby is so secure in them. I'd love to see your finished pouch!

not sure if this is one but is it the one you strap on you and it holds baby in front of you if it is then yes i loved mine i used it with my twins they were so small when i brung them home i put both into one would go everywhere with them and people would see one then another and were just amazed lol wow memories

Its a sheet thing used in the cot like short sheeting the bed so bub can't go under the bed clothes it must be new out
you can put bub straight in a cot.twins how did you cope

cope lol when my twins was born i had a 10 1/2 year old girl so i had to cope now they are 4 today and the older one will be 5 in july and i have a 2 1/2 year old also i just love kids

That sounds a lot like what some of us at the Log Cabin Angels were asked to make for one of our hospitals for the nurses to carry little babies ,who were addicted to drugs(no thanks to their mums!)around with them.It made them feel secure.
