There are 2 websites for the gorgeous girls that Pat has been doing. They are very stitch intensive, just warning you! Love Chris
Dear Pat, this is absolutely and you'd done a great job on sewing them out. I've got some of these too, bought them months ago, but haven't sewn them yet. I hope to once Christmas over. Love Chris
Lovely. do you have the link or can you tell me who the designer is? Thankyou
I just bought sherri's girls the other day when they were on sale 35% off
and I love them all. I haven't started to stitch them but was hoping
to do them on quilt squares to make a girlie quilt. Any tips on stabilizing would be a great help and time saver.
It has been well worth the time and effort to stitch out these fun designs.
I love them all, planning to make a quilt if my daughter's baby is a girl , we will find out at the end of this month! I just can not wait!
OH! I need to ask you, is it too hard to do, the note says you need a strong fabric, and to be aware there are a lot thread changes what kind of fabric did you use, Sorry to ask and thank you.
No need to be sorry to ask, only too happy to tell you what I used. I used a fabric that I have had for ages, it looks like Aida that I've used for cross stitch, maybe not quite as stiff, but certainly thick. I used a fairly thick tear away stabiliser, and I used that double. There are thousands of stitches in these designs, and a lot of colour changes, and the ones that I have done took two hours each, or just over. When I got all the threads lined up I filled the bobbins, it seems a long time to stitch one design, but believe me, they stitch out perfectly and are well worth doing.Get the designs from Oregon Patchworks, they are half price at the moment. Not long ago, I did a design in machine cross stitch, and that took seven hours to stitch, but that was well worth the time taken.
