Cancer is a terrible illness and his bravery to win against is a great example for all.
Thank you for the reminder..........we quickly forget how ill one can be and how wonderful it is to see someone bounce back and continue a great life!!

This is wonderful news Heather, thanks for sharing we all us cuties. How are you doing? I am still coming for the cuppa and a chat in your garden. Hugs Sally
Yes, you must come, it is my favourite place, must say we do need to have some rain to freshen it up. Chemo tomorrow, it has now become part of my weekly routine.
Yes, there is hope, in this too often fatal disease. My sister just made 10 years, and my daughter made 7,thanks to our good Lord.I just heard from our friends,I would like to visit. Her husband had finished treatment a while back.He went for a scan and so far, so good.He still suffers with depression, however.I am so happy Meg has been blest with these years and 'hope'fully many, many more!
ps.I asked in chat so I will ask here too.Has anyone heard from Deb, aka leenova54 ? Last news was almost 2 weeks ago and it wasn't good. ......
It is always wonderful to share happy news, and this is very happy news.
Yep, and she is doing so well. I was down with her on Friday and Pauline (nonna57) came up from Penrith and we had a lovely day sewing! It's been over a year I reckon since we actually did any sewing together. Still a lot to be done around the house and as Ray is still working nights, it is taking a lot longer than anticipated. The pool is nearing completion, the capping tiles are on the top and that's a good thing. Still dirt everywhere in the back yard, but it's a slow process.
Thanks Heather for remembering her. Love Chris
