EMBRID question - I was wondering if someone could direct me to a good website or blog (anything) that had good (free or inexpensive) lessons on their software. I purchased it in march and have only had time to use it a few times but would love to watch some tutorials or something on all the ins and outs of the software. I have the basic plus editor and the font add on.

There are a couple of Yahoo Groups for Embird they can help you find good sources for tutorials.

Embird has lots of tutorials on their website, arranged by subject, much more practical than the user's guide that is alphabetically arranged.
Clipartopolis has a number of nice ones too, which I found very informative when I started.
I bought two Flying needle lessons and they are good, but offer nothing that I had not already found on the Embird site. The free articles on digitising are well worth reading; they stress the importance of careful planning and testing your designs. The list of shortcuts is worth printing and keeping close to your pc, it slows you down at first but you'll soon know them by heart and then using them increases your speed considerably when you are past the beginner stage.

Hi Allawson, welcome to cute, have fun here. If you visit you tube, type in embird lesson in the search bar and lots of videos will show up.
for Studio and Editor and Manager. Kathy Jones from flying needle dot ca has some great information on her website too. Or you take a look at the Embird tutorials which are included in your Embrid software.
Guess there is a lot more info around - clipartopolis com offers some tutorials in the university section too.
