I absolutely love your peacocks and your idea about wearing a shirt as a jacket. I'm almost always too warm anyway, so need nothing more than long sleeves, so do the same thing. You did a beautiful job with your peacocks!
I love peacocks and I love your shirts. I don't remember seeing this one. Do you remember which site on Secrets Of? I have been searching for some of the $1. designs. It is too time consuming.
I am sorry, I am not sure which design you are wanting. The designs on the shirts came from Embroidery library, I added the link below. It is on page 10 of under Peacocks. Its called Peacock flourish #2318.
the one from Secrets of embroidery is on:
http://www.secretsof.com/machine-...
It is called Jacobean Peacock. If you put Peacock in the search box it will show up. Its on the bottom left corner, when I searched for it. This one is expensive.
Great! I have the one from Embroidery Library, but a smaller size. You must have a larger hoop than I have. I have forgotten which machine you have. Now I will look for the one from Secrets Of. Thank you so much for telling me. Kay
Hi Kay: I have an Elna 8300 xperience, with 5x7 hoop. I don't have the design from Secrets of, I was just showing Chris the picture for my comment to her about an old friend that raised Peacocks. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply I did the embroidery.
Chris: This is sort of what the stuffed Peacock looked like on my friends wall. This design is from Secrets of Embroidery.
These are absolutely gorgeous Jerri. I love Peacocks but Mum shies away from them as she says they are bad luck. I, on the other hand am not superstitious at all and so love them. Whilst we were in Italy (this time last year actually) we went to a gorgeous formal garden and white ones were roaming throughout the garden. They are magnificent birds and well done on your shirts, they will be a real talking point. Love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris: I actually had a real stuffed one years ago. Long story, but it had been poisoned by a neighbour of a friend of mine. He did Taxidermy as a hobby so he did it for me. He had another one that he had done in his entrance hall. It was unbelievable to see when you entered their home. He raised peacocks and when this one died, he stuffed it and put it on a branch. I will put a picture of what it sort of looked like. He had all the tail feathers fanned about 5ft across. They had a very large home and it was enclosed in a glass case. It was so beautiful.
Beautiful job with the design and the shirts.
What a beautiful design...love the turquoise one,
Where can we get it?
Thank you, I love it and can't wait to do the purse.
It is from Embroidery library on page 10 of Peacock designs # H2318 - called Peacock Flourish
