UK impromptu gathering! Last night I had a phone call from "workbecky" (Becky from Texas). She is currently visiting her daughter in Suffolk. We had a nice chat worked things out so that she and her husband could drive up to Lincolnshire today. The came to my house where Scottie joined us for some lunch. After lunch I took Becky and her Husband to Gainsborough Old Hall, our medieval manor house and after a whistle stop tour of the building Gill Emmerson managed to meet us for a chat in the tearoom. Becky and Kenneth have just set off back to play with their grandchildren before bedtime!

I was blown away by meeting Christie last year in Germany and one day hope to visit some others in America and England. I'll have to start saving now I reckon!!!!!! 173695My husband and I had a delightful time. We were telling my daughter and granddaughters some of the stories Sue and Scottie told and the stories of the Old Manor House. Sue was a fantastic tour guide. She gave us a much quicker way to return to our daughters than the GPS device. Becky M in Texas
