I have had the coaster bug. 1 & 2 are from DBC and 3 is from Oma's Place. Lots of fun to make. Shirley

You certainly have mastered this. I love your fabircs and colors. I would
like to try-I have an older Bernina that uses ART3 and I haven't seen
any designs offered in ART. I don't have a conversion program. I love
seeing what every makes. olds/

Thanks. There are free conversion programs on the internet. Not quite sure of the names. They have been mentioned here before. Ask in Q&A and someone is sure to help you. Best of luck. Shirley

Hi Shirley, last week I made a coaster that one had to lap the two pieces in the centre of the back [so that left a hole to turn]. My machine foot got caught in the fold and made an horrendous sound and jammed and the needle broke!!. Scared the living daylights out of me. Can you tell me how yours are finished, ready to turn, please?

I machine stitched each end of the back leaving a hole to turn. Then pressed the seam open. I have my machine set to the lowest speed (400 SPM) and hold the seam fold as it sews toward it. I did sew the foot in the seam on one but luckily did not break a needle. I am extra careful now when it sews to this part. Best of luck with the next one. Shirley

Try a bit of tape to hold down the the final back stitch down...just make sure that you keep the tape out of the needle path...that way the foot won't catch as it floats over the back fabric...

Great. Never thought of that. lol

Take a piece of painters tape (blue one ) and cover the slit, I did that on other things and it worked.
