This is just wonderful. If you have any of your fabric left over, would you mind looking at the selvage and advising who the manufacturer is. I would love to order. Thanks.
Thank you. I later saw that you said it was from JoAnn's so I should be able to locate it even if you do not have any left.
Sorry, I couldn't even find a scrap of it. It is a creamy color with a gold sparkle in it.
Beautiful! Is this Anita Good? I have this & have been intimidated by the scope of work involved but you have inspired me to try! Wow it turned out perfectly! Hugs & **Loralye
Wow! Gloria this is stunning. I can't wait to see yours. I'm so glad your friend was thrilled with it, I can just imagine her enthusiasm when she opened it up. You've done an awesome job, especially sewing on satin, slippery stuff to sew on. Love Chris
Well done it looks fabulous. I must have been awkward on the fabric....well I find it slippery to use...lol
How wonderful - Well done!! No doubt your friend was thrilled!! Hugs to you, Laura*
Wow! Beautiful!! And I think your friend is right..it surely needs to be framed & out for all to see all year!! Great job.
Beautifully made. Will be neat to see how much different the two looks on the different fabric colors.
Thank you all for your very kind words. I made this for a friend and she was ecstatic, She had it framed and is going to hang it all year round. I enjoyed doing the project so much that I am making myself one as we speak! I'm more country so I am going to put mine on a dusty blue fabric that looks like there is snow coming down. I will post it when finished.
wow wow wow this is such a beautiful project well done you...soozie
Beautiful this took some time to do.
Not as long as you'd think as there are only about 4 blocks that are stitch intensive.
Wow, that is spectacular! Is it from BFC-Creations?
I got all the fabric at JoAnn's with my 50% coupon. Got the ribbon there also. There are 24 blocks to embroider. On each block the last stitch is the cutting line for the blocks. Sew all the blocks, cut each on the cutting line, butt blocks together with a zig zag stitch. Using Steam A Seam, press down the ribbons for a window effect. Sew on the borders. Add batting, backing and bias edge. It really was not hard at all.
