were did you get the design. it is really cute!
This posting was in 2013. It was a design given by one of our Cute members....dollygk
See her picture below. Not sure if she still does them...
Thanks Jerri for posting that they sewed out great for you!! huggs Dolly
Your welcome Dolly and thank you again for taking the time to digitize them for me. My family will love this year's gift tags. They always look for what is new each year. Hugs Jerri
Happy Snowmen, Happy Kids & Grandkids. Lovely idea :)
You and Dolly have done a great job! love them!
So sweet of her to do this for the cuties. These are happy tags and will look cute on the packages.
This is what they look like in my Sew What Pro program. See how there are only 5 colours. As I said, I set it up so that it sews all the white underlay stitches first (was 2 colours, just make them the same) then all the red, then grey then black. The girls have 6 colours as the names are another colour number.
They look great Jerri. I plan on making some of these too for the holidays. Hugs, Susan
Thank you Susan, they stitch out perfectly. I shrunk them a little 3.00x3.75 and was able to get 4 into my 5x7 hoop. I just did one the right way up then one upside down on the top of the hoop and did the same on the bottom, then with my Sew What Pro program, I was able to have the colours all stitch one colour at a time for all for eg: all the underlay stitches for all four, less hooping and less waste of stabilizer... will post a picture,
Fabulous, Jerri, I did mine for my ladies luncheon and also, like you, thought they were FSL. They sewed out brilliantly didn't they? Love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris. What did you sew yours on to then? Glad they turned out well. I can see a little sparkle from the mylar
Hugs Jerri
They look really nice. Can't wait to syart mine but still working on halloween.
Thank you, you will be very happy with how well they stitch out and if you have a few, I just shrunk mine a little and managed to fit 4 in one 5x7 hooping.
I have the same problem with typing also, so don't feel bad..
Spelling used to be my best subject, now I am having problems with how to spell things that the computer auto corrects for me....Thank God, it knows how to spell....
They all look very nice. Your family will be happy to receive these.
Hugs
very cute! Dolly did some names for me also; hope to make them soon. great idea using them for gift tags.
Thank you. They are perfect for name gift tags and can be kept to put on future trees. My kids and GK love and look forward to what I create for them each year...that is why I love embroider and this site so much.
The two of you have made a wonderful team. These snowmen are sure to bring smiles to the recipients.
Great looking and wonderful love packed in these from Dolly, to you to yours. Merry Christmas to both your Christmas hearts. Hugs Mary
Thank you Mary. I love how they turned out and it was so generous of Dolly to do this for us.
