A big thank you to Gerry for her help in creating this peanut burpie with frayed edges. Reversible too. I did make the middle narrower & did an echo style quilting around it to keep the layers together. Just like Gerry's daughter my daughter's love the frayed edges too. Once it has been washed it will fray & the more it gets washed the more it will fray & they think this look is just the best. So it will go in the gift basket too. Thanks again Gerry.

So glad you did these!! I love the echo quilting!! Will have to do that on the next one I make. and thank you for posting the site. Gals, these are really easy to make. I have used both flannel & woven fabric, but the flannel ravels better. And, by the way, my real name isn't Gerry, it's Geraldine...so I'm a "she." But that's ok, you can call me what ever as long as you call me at supper time! You're welcome. Love this site & all the help and sharing.
