Yes they are beautiful. I am so tempted to purchase he design. The pink one really catches my eye, but what would I do with it? Thinking about appliqueing it to a piece of fabric and creating a quilt around it.
Great work though. I love it. hugs, Susan
beautiful job i would love to buy a pair but 35.00 is a bit high for me...Great job though....Hugs...Libby
These look very complicated!! You did a great job, love the colors. Would they be the right size to "live" on the refrigerator door?
These are absolutely gorgeous. Are you still looking for somewhere for them to live? I have the perfect place for them - can I send you my address? I love, love, love your choice of fabrics.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments. But Ananda Smith deserves the credit for digitizing them. You will all have fun making your own. Owls are so hip... is that the right word???
Christine
I have finished the girl one this week also. I will make another one in a different colour. One each for my two GD's. in the same family. You did a marvellous job, and of course I love them. I am going to a show and tell in a couple of weeks, so will post picture after that day out...so I surprise my lady friends first.
Christine, did you do the reverse applique, I did not as I did not understand until after I finished her. I will do it on the next one. I plan on putting a thin board to Velcro it to so she hangs nicely on the wall. How are you going to hang them...X Kerry
Yes but if it's hanging on the wall you won't see the back. I like the idea of putting Velcro on.
I love, love, love owls and yours are just awesome!!! Great choice of colors.
they are georgeous, i love them. Thank you very much for sharing your work.
Amitiés de France.
lots and lots of trimming and huge amount of patience in these beautiful owls. well done to you.

These are very cute...are the pieces sewn together on the sewing machine or are they assembeled in the hoop?
Each section is done in the hoop and then sewn together with a sewing machine. Very easy!!!
Christine
Thanks for the information...I thought maybe the pieces were joined in the hoop...very nice job.
That is excellent very nice and so beautiful The colors much so perfect great job
How big are they? I went to the site and it shows them as being done in 4 parts, is that what you did here?
There are seven parts on the girl owl which are done in the hoop and the butted together and sewn with a zigzag on the sewing machine. The instructions are excellent!!!
Christine
They make such a lovely couple!! Well done.
You probably could make them in bride and groom colours. Black and white???
Christine
