You did a wonderful job on transforming the sweatshirt. If you want to make the next one for yourself go ahead and hot water wash and dry in the dryer to shrink it. May fit you better after a wash. Remember you may want it a little bigger if you wear it over other heavy clothing,
so cool, so pretty and so funny, catching up on projects * for yous all
This turned out so nicely. Its amazing what starts out as something and is now something else. I enjoy making jackets out of sweatshirts. Its almost time to dig mine out.
It turned out fantastic. what fun. well done to you.
Hugs Pam.
I love these jackets! You have done a great job with this!
Remember, Santa is an Elf -- just the biggest one. ;)
Very cute !!! You did great job on this. Happy your feeling better and sewing along again.
It's terrific my friend & I am glad to see you are up to sewing again! Hugs ***Loralye
Well i think there excellent just the way the are hugs!!
Well, here's the inspiration I need to get me going!!
I love that Santa's clothes have shrunk to Elf Size.
I think the size of the design on the back fits very well.
I have three sweatshirts to 'practice' on and I haven't been game to cut them yet. What's putting me off them is that the shoulders come half way to my elbows and the bottom of the body of the shirts fits very snugly. There was a time I'd just go ahead and do it but these days my confidence is at a very low level. Still, my shirts only cost $3 each and that's not much to wreck if things go wrong. I like a more fitted, but not too snug, fit, too.
Thanks for posting your jacket and getting my 'I want to do it' juices going.

My shoulders fit like yours,Alma, thatis why I plan to recut them.Might do that today, wish me luck.I'm glad I got you 'going'-LOL I want to see what you come up with. How do you feel about the cuff and neck ribbing left on?
