I hoop mine between one layer of cutaway and one layer of tearaway stabilizer without any problems. I use 4 sheets folded back to 2.
Thank every one so much I posted this once but do not know if you read it or not I have done about 60 rolls and had good luck with all of them have 6 ordered now and my machine is broken.
Love you all Lena mae
This is fabulous! Thanks for asking this question, I was trying to think of a Christmas gift for my aunt, and this will be perfect. With a cute towel set, all with teddy bears (she collects). So a flower for you for asking & all the cuties for their answers. I love it when someone asks a question I hadn't thought of yet. :)
I don't hoop my TP, and I haven't had any trouble. My designs come out great.
I can't believe I actually got out a roll so I can explain it right. Fold over 3-4 squares. The left side of the hoop goes over the 4th or 5th sq. Center the design over the folded squares. Unroll an additional 3-4 squares so the paper doesn't tear while embroidering. If this doesn't help send me an email and I'll take some pictures and send back to you.
How far down the roll do you go? Looks as if it would tear off. Then I would cry.
I've done lots of TP emb. and hooping is easy. get your stabilizer-fold 3-4 sq of TP and place on stabilizer. Hoop as you would fabric. Make sure you unroll several sq of TP so the paper doesn't rip while embroidering. If the design is dense I suggest floating a piece of white felt inside the folded sqs of TP. Hope this helps.
Arh so you don't just sew on one piece you use 3 or 4 thanks for that info, I missed that bit on the instructions I have so it pays to read a lot Thanks
There are some absolutely lovely swans right here on cute that would be perfect for wedding embroidery.;)
Here is the link lbrow was referring to....P.S. you can't actually give a page number because there are so many posts, they move around quickly and are difficult to find.
