Jo, I was the same way with my material. I guess I'll have to do another one when I get my first one done, since I found some lovely fabrics that would look good together.
Very nice!
Pioneers and gals of days gone by using the binding method that you used it. Back in those days, they didn't have quilt binding or make them. This was their method. Purist in the simpliest form!
Now you have a bit of quilting history to go with your mug rug!
Beautiful work!
Jo I love this but just don't think I would have tackled it.
Hugs Lenamae
These are just glorious Jo, I love them all. You are very clever. Love Chris
Your mugrug is just beautiful. I love your choice of fabrics.
Looks very nice. I giggled at the piles as I tend to do that a lot. At least it keeps us up on knowing about where to dig and go again. lol. Your corners look great!
This is the most unique mug rug I've seen! There are so many interesting things on it and they all go well together. Well done!
I love your project. Can you tell me where you got it? I looked on San Francisco Stitch Co and couldn't find it. What category is it under. Your mug rug is just fabulous!!!
It is one of the Mystery Projects, currently still free for group members under the group files -- all 4 weeks and finishing instructions. Eventually it will go for sale on the site at extremely reasonable cost. You can see previous projects there. There is a new free project every quarter and they are fun so you may want to join. embroiderb
