things happen for a reason and this could be the way that your DH made sure you had your new sewing machine.
Enjoy your Brother and Bless you
I just wonder where your hoops and cords have gone. I am sure that they will turn up. Much love to you in your new home. Sarah.
Oh Judy, I am so glad for you to finish a wish you and your sweet husband had made. Doesn't it feel like a gift from him? I hope it feels that way to you. Enjoy your new machine and make something that brings back lots of special memories of your marriage, I know it will be special to you! Hugs, Jan
I hope you find your hoops soon, but glad you're getting another one. Moving can be a pain and trying to find everything. I'm sorry for you loss of your hubby.
Congrats on a fresh start. Reminds me of how I got a new sewing machine. Would have been pleaed to keep sewing on my 1975 Singer Futura II, but DH packed away a bunch of stuff when we were having the SS class over and my attachments and tools and parts have NEVER been seen again. Five years ago! every so often, I ask him about it and he suggests a new room they "might" be in - the basement, the master br, the bath, the library...
As I read your story I thought 'there's a mighty spirit that won't lie down!'
Thankyou for this don't-give-in message. Sometimes things get a bit heavy on the shoulders and messages like yours can perform miracles and you don't even know you're doing it. Each day begins with mighty plans for me and each seems to end the same way and nothing has been achieved. Will today be the day your message gets me going????
I am so glad that you've got a new machine in time to make some Christmas pressies and have lots of fun creating them.
AlmaG.
Alma, my new to-do list always have 1 item that I can accomplish in 5 minutes. Then I always get to mark something off my list. Try it. It feels good. ;)
I love those 5 minute projects!
Also, you should always add the things to your list that were never there in the first place. Things like cleaning up broken glass or taking a friend to the doctor. Even those "quick" trips to the store should be included. Then at the end of the day you will feel more accomplished and you will know why you are so very tired.
oh i wish you Gods blessings on yourself and your new machines hugs
Enjoy your new machine. I hope you find your hoops so you can multitask and get everything ready before Christmas.
So glad to hear from you! sounds like you are getting things worked out. Happy Holiday Stitchin!
I know you will have lots of fun with it and I sure hope you find your hoops soon. Call all your helpers and try and find out who packed them and maybe you can get an idea of where they are. Hugs, Mary
Congratulation to your second machine :o)
I have a Janome and have bought a brother as second one cause my Janome is such a diva. Now the Janome stand still most of the time and my little workhorse is doing the job :-)
Greetings, Bettina
It will take you awhile to find everything and you'll be back to normal in no time at all, with the two machines
Well Judy, I hope you find your hoops. When I'm looking for something it's usually in the last place I look that I find it. I love my Brother and at the moment have the Husqvarna Designer 1 and the Brother Quattro Innovis 6700D going at the same time too. I hope to finish off some of my things for my annual Christmas ladies luncheon for next Thursday 21st November. Good luck with getting all of your Christmas things done. Love and blessings Chris
Judy, I bet an angel nudged you into that decision. So happy that you are getting a new machine and I'm sure you will finish Christmas sewing in no time flat! ;)
Thanx so very much Jerilynn!!! I surely do believe in help from God's angels! Hugs, Judy
