This is beautiful in the silver and black. I did it in white on a red shirt for my Mom. I love Kara's designs.
Beautiful! I have some of her designs and love them, but some just have such high stitch counts, and I don't have the patience for them I guess. Love the metallic thread, and glitz on most everything.
Simply lovely! I love the silver on white! You did a wonderful job!
Kara does have beautiful designs and a great sale right now. This is a beautiful stitchout.
I have several of Kara's designs. They are all gorgeous! I checked her website for this design and I can't find it anywhere. Do you have a file name for this design? Or perhaps a different digitizer did it? It looks so much like something Kara would do.
Oops! I found it. Did not scroll down far enough on the page! I bought it and a few more things...
Yes, I really like Kara's designs,,,,,,It is hard to pick just one so I have a very full Wish List on her site.
Oh gosh! This is stunning! I don't think I'd have the courage to take this project on! Three hours is really not long as my machine seems to go slow.
Hi. Looks beautiful. Did you have any problems with the metallic thread. I've always loved metallic but am not game to use it in a full design. What brand of thread did you use.
Thank you. I used a metallic thread from MelcoMart which I purchased several years ago.....SM-110, D-1, 007135-01 identification numbers. This thread does not loop or break if you slow down the speed of the machine. I slowed my machine 3 clicks and it took 3 hours to stitch out the design. The design has over 42,000 stitches.
Good Advise. You can also use a metallic needle and apply a small amount of sewers aid liquid down the spool of the thread. You can buy it at walmart. This also helps with thread you have had for awhile from breaking
Sorry, this should be Kreations By Kara. (Not Designs by Kara)
