Nicely done! If they save them over the years, they could be used as utensil holders on a table or perhaps coasters too.
Oldest son - keeps his and uses it as a credit card keeper through the year - I am sure it wears out quickly!! Fun to make!! Thanks! Laura*
Nicely made for them with their favorite color for the ribbon. Much easier way to give a gift not knowing what they have.
They are only allowed to spend it on themselves and they love finding bargains! Thanks, Laura*
How I envy you being able to go to Christmas Village. I know you and your family will have a wonderful time. These card holders are lovely and I know they will appreciate it. Enjoy your shopping trip and don't get too tired, I know it well and miss it. Thousands of miles away now.
Oh, thank you, Joyce - we have no family close by so this makes for a fun Thanksgiving holiday!! Hugs, Laura*
These are lovely gift card holders. Maureen
Thank you, Maureen!! It is fun trying to come up with a new one each year! Hugs to you, Laura*

Sorry - I should have put that in my description. The actual gift card was a freebie years ago from Embroidery Gardens - but the wreath I added and it was simply a freebie that I had in my Christmas file - that, I do not know where I got it. Each one has a different color ribbon - actually their favorite color - so they will know which is whose. Thanks, Hugs, Laura*
What a fabulous idea and terrific gift. these look all lovely.
Thank you - for older kids - it has turned out to be a great gift for them! Thank you again! Hugs, Laura*
I know you will have a wonderful time and such memories! My youngest daughter and I always Christmas shopped together ,and we had an exciting time, finding what each had asked for.We would eat lunch and shop some more. Mid afternoon, have coffee somewhere, when it got late, we would call her daddy to come meet us, and we would eat out that night. We were exhausted, but a happy time.Since she remarried, her husband likes to go with her.He goes the first stretcth with her, then he's through.I meet up with her later since I can't shop that long anymore, but the men still meet us that night. They know if they don't they won't have any thing to eat!-LOL...One year at thanksgiving we gave all 3 of our grown kids, each cash money, so they could buy their families christmas. That was a hard year for 2 of the kids.Year the yougest daughter had cancer, and to put the icing on the cake, her husband lost his job, so no income.Son wasn't making much and they were struggling.Anyway, we (hubby and me) were not suppose to buy them anything for christmas day @ our house. The cash was their christmas. Yeah, right. We bought like we always did.But you know, everyone had plenty to eat, were happy, relaxed, and thankful we had so much. Enjoy your family time together and your card holders are beautiful.May you and yours have a blessed thanksgiving.-Toogie
What a difficult Christmas that must have been for them - you and your hubby seriously came to their rescue!! I love your descriptioin of shopping with your daughter - you know what fun we have!! I wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Hugs, Laura*

this is great, the kind of gift I like too
They love shopping for themselves to find bargains - I gather the gifts at the end of the week and wrap them and under the tree they go.
