je trouve le modèle super j'aimerais bien le réaliser!...bravo.
I think she is as cute as a button and will be much happier with some stuffing. She might be lonely and need a friend ....
Great work. What we do for our Grand- children. But then if we had known how much fun they are, we would have had them first. Hugs from me in Aussie
Toogie, I see a couple wrinkles on her face maybe , but I think it is very cute! It looks like the baby has her snowsuit on. I like the zipper idea. Don't be so hard on yourself. Get busy and stuff her. She is too cute not to finish. Have you thought of filling her with rice or beans so she would be floppy? I like her. Hugs, Susan
She is wrinkled, the flannel doesn't do so well. When I make their 'real dolls' I will have the right color fleece for them. What are you speaking of, rice or beans? dry beans and uncooked rice we eat?
Yes, they work good. There are also plastic pellets you can buy at the craft store to fill toys with. Makes the toys floppy like a Beanie Baby toy. Sometimes I use the pellets and polyfil stuffing. Just to give the doll some weight like a real baby. hugs, Susan
Good Job...I am so happy you like her...Nobbie Neez does some of the cutes things....Soon as my company leaves I will be making the little boys garage....She had/has a great sales otherwise I would not be able to afford so many of them.
Hugs Joann
She is lovely and the little ones that will receive will think she is the best doll ever. Great job on all your hard work, putting her together.
Hugs
ttt- the face is called Bright Eyes, by sew perfect, on SewForum. It should be on the first page, since I just brought it there.
She is very cute and adorable!!! Perfect!!! I love her!
Toogie, she is such a sweety. You did such a grand job on all the designing together all those different pieces to a lovable snowbaby. The girls will love them.
Well, Nora is 4 months and Avery is 7 (8 New Years eve) with very poor eyesight, so I know it will pass their inpection, they are very good critics for me-LOL Wish I had a recorder thing a ma gig to put inside.Avery stayed 3 days with us (parents had to go to hospital 5 hours away) and she had a ball. All her toys have to say something or play music.I had one at each arm and one at her feet when she was in her bed to play. She set them all off, sometimes all at the same time and she would just giggle.
Cute idea. Have you thought about the push button music boxes? I put them in the feet of my bears sometimes. I buy them at most craft stores. hugs, Susan
I agree with the rest it's cute, gonna make my grand daughter one as well !!
Thanks for the link
Magda
You're going to put that thermometer where? LOL
Muffy :)
you are very inventive and I think you did a good job, you put a lot of thought into her. She is cute and bet the girls will love her..Good Job..Karen
No, not a good inventor, just a good copier(look at bonnetgirls post a few pages back) HER doll is my inspiration. I just loved it, reminded me of a doll I had __years ago (notice I did not put 3 blanks, so it hasn't been over a century ago-LOL)
I think once it is stuffed you will be surprised how good it looks. Reminds me of a baby in a one piece with the hood up to stay warm. Good job really when you were making it up as you went along. A for effort.
Lol! You are so Cute! I love your explaination of how she came to be! I think there is a story book in there somewhere. My friend's daughter bought a toy and it had no feet and the hands were bound, it upset the boy so much that Grandma had to make feet and shoes and perform surgery on the hands. What we do to placate our young. As far as her look? She may just be delighted at seeing your GD's face!
I am glad you like my story.I am happy for the little boy to have his toy fixed, by his /seamstress/surgeon grandmother....Maybe I should have been a seamstress/writer since I do like a good story and I can write better than I can talk (and Lord knows I can talk-LOL)
I like her, she is cute and looks great and I agree with Chris, you deserve AAA for effort!
Hugs, Lidia
I love what you accomplished makes her a Grammy award winning baby doll. Sure to be well loved by Nora and Avery. Then after your Grammy award I give you the A's for showing sharing her as She is Very cute.
well i happen to think it is excellent like A+ so there!!!!
Oh, Toogie, we are all our own worst critics. When you see the faces of those little girls, you will forget all of the problems you had. ;)
I agree she is really cute & I give you an A+. Hugs **Loralye
I think she is cute, too. It might be fun if you stuffed her with those little stryofoam bb's to be like a bean bag or rice--for the parents-- to put in the microwave fo rone of those bags you put on an aching neck, etc.
I think she is cute. you did a very good job, even though you said there were mistakes....remember the cabbage patch dolls, no one thought they were cute, but they really grew on everyone....your baby is cuter!
Well Toogie, I have to give you a "AAA" for effort. I think she will look good with some stuffing too. You wouldn't need too much, just enough to make her feel squishy! Love chris
Thanks Chris, may just do that, but she'll be the baby that stays here.(Don't want the girls taking her out and saying Gram made this.-LOL
I agree. She is cute. Stuff her and you might like her better.
I think it's cute, sorry it was so much trouble but the end result looks great
Her face isn't stitched very well. I think I will try to emb the size face without reducing.I may have to take my doll printout and have it enlarged, to fit face. This would have been a good size for the baby.
