Our birds have returned but not with their babies yet. Hopefully soon. Love yours
Maybe the kookaburra is just having a bad feather day or if he is near our place the wind is making the feathers stand on end.Any way he is more interested in finding his next meal than what he looks like.
Thanks for sharing these pictures. Love it's hair style lol!
Hugs, Lidia
Cool doo! Love the brushing of blue on the wings. Thanks for sharing them.
Yours are gorgeous Shirley. It's funny we have the two parent birds back in our gumtree nest/hole. I don't know if there is an egg in there or not, we will have to have a look over the weekend. It's seems strange to be this late as it's starting to get really hot here and I don't know if the baby Kookaburras would last through the summer. I'll have to wait and see, sometimes it can be a phantom egg. Love Chris
These two hang around the house a lot. They find the Corby Grubbs after hubby has cut the grass. Can't call it a lawn lol Shirley
yes it looks like it needs a hair cut lol thanks for sharing hugs
The one in photo 2 looks like a fur hat; would definitely need it around here, brrrr, it sure is cold outside....
Pity we can't hear them Shirley. Vicki from EP, South Aust.
