My son informed me my newest granddaughter won't keep her socks and shoes on so that sent me on a mission for stay on cloth baby shoes. Sandra here on the forum suggested pinterest so I found this link I'm sharing. Hope to get a pair or two sewn for her. I have several fabric pieces just big enough for this too, Yayyy!

I have actually made these (or ones very similar) for my DGS who is now 6, when he was a baby. I embroidered his monogram on the top of the shoes before I put them together. I also put a moose on some for his first Christmas. You can buy the grippy material online. I used bonded fleece for the sole. It's suede on one side and fleece on the other.

Thank you for this link. I'm making my great nephew pajamas for Christmas and matching slippers will complete the ensemble. Cuties always come through! Thanks again. --Sandra

Be sure to get some grippy fabric for the soles, I have no idea where to buy that. I guess it's fine for baby not walking yet but definitely need the non slip sole for others.

I've made these and similar pairs. I embroider a monogram or little design on the top of the foot area before assembly if the fabric isn't too busy. They come together very fast with very little fabric.

These look so pretty. Will try to enlarge them for a lady on my Meals On Wheels route. She has very gnarled feet and has trouble walking. Thanks for the link. Stella

You might look for some non slip fabric with grips for the sole. They would be great to keep her feet warm, however.
