Today I made the FSL angel that was on sale from urban threads to put on top of my little tree. This is the smaller of the two sizes and the perfect size for my tiny tree.

Wow! you were quick on the draw - it was only advertised the past weekend. And your angel looks lovely. I too bought the design but that is how far I got!

What are the arms made of and the head?

queenofhearts by queenofhearts 09 Dec 2013

The head is a 1 inch ornament. There are no arms, the body is shaped into a cone and the wings are added to the back. I added a bit of ribbon to dress her up a little. If you plan to hang the ornament you put the head on with the hanger showing but since I planned to put it on the top of my tree I hid the hanger inside.

That was quick! I bought this as well, but was put off by the stitching time. How long did this one take you?

I didn't keep track of the time but it took quite awhile. But it stitched out beautifully with no glitches.

As I said, this was the smaller version and the body was done in two pieces, each having 18,189 stitches. Each wing was 15,103 stitches. But well worth the time.
