A timber tote for our sil for Christmas. Easier to lug firewood into the house. This is heavy faux leather & quite challenging to work with especially because of the weight of it, but I am glad that it turned out ok & I am done working on it. I hope he likes it enough to use it.
I thought that I would add these extra photos to help explain better this log carrier, I do hope that clears up the confusion.

57673Looks great!! They will love it, and use it a lot this winter. I know what you mean about the faux leather. I have used it for a few projects, and it can be quite difficult to manipulate and stitch. But the end result is wonderful. You did a nice job on this log carrier!

Yes it was I used wss on all the edges top & bottom to help it glide over the feed dogs, whew & the weight too! Thank you very much, hugs ***

it lays flat to put logs in it for the fireplace, it is open on the sides so that you can lay it on the ground & put firewood on top of it then grab the handles to carry it all at once & bring it into the house. That way you make less trips outside in the freezing cold to get more wood for the fireplace & they have three of them so a lot of carrying going on there LOL
