A timber tote for our sil for Christmas. Easier to lug firewood into the house. This is heavy faux leather & quite challenging to work with especially because of the weight of it, but I am glad that it turned out ok & I am done working on it. I hope he likes it enough to use it.

I thought that I would add these extra photos to help explain better this log carrier, I do hope that clears up the confusion.

Excellent gift for your son in law. Would have loved to have one of these when we burned wood.

Looks great!! They will love it, and use it a lot this winter. I know what you mean about the faux leather. I have used it for a few projects, and it can be quite difficult to manipulate and stitch. But the end result is wonderful. You did a nice job on this log carrier!

AH thanks so much it really was a challenge & I am glad that you agree, it makes me feel like I did it right even though it was hard to maneuver. Hugs ***

it lays flat to put logs in it for the fireplace, it is open on the sides so that you can lay it on the ground & put firewood on top of it then grab the handles to carry it all at once & bring it into the house. That way you make less trips outside in the freezing cold to get more wood for the fireplace & they have three of them so a lot of carrying going on there LOL
