I have made this Teen Commandments for our oldest granddaughter & it took quite a long while to sew out but the result is just wonderful. This was designed by a woman in my digitizing class & i am very thankful that she has shared it with my class. My question is this as you can see it is pretty big almost 10 inches across & 6 wide should I try to frame it in an 8x10 or turn it into a pillow? Or should the frame be bigger & then I could add trim to the edge of it? I am just not sure I have pinned trim in place to give as an example

I don't think so she is in my class but it is o-line & she could be anywhere in the world? I just don't know. Thank you very much, hugs

I am leaning towards framing, no trim...

I love this! I think in a frame would look wonderful: without trim. I don't know if you have Michael's stores near you. Every so often they have sales for framing with an extra percentage off. That's a really good deal!

I think it would be WONDERFUL on a pillow for her bed, so it can be seen daily as a reminder. And yes, with a border if made into a pillow! Thank you for sharing! K

I agree with no trim if framed. I have taken several pictures to Hobby Lobby to have framed. They have lots of frames to choose from. Joanns also has frames and does framing if you have either one near you. Joyce

I think if you frame it-no trim... if a cushion then add trim it softens the edging.. but either way she will love it

This is lovely. Have your husband make a custom frame for it or take it to be framed but that can be costly. There used to be a business called a Frame Station and one could go and pick out the frame and they cut it for you and then there were stations where the customer put them together with a mat.

wow that would be really neat but I have never heard of anything like that here in Canada. Will have to see what we can find that works well with this. Thanks Hugs ***

I love the frame idea. I leave the size up to you for you know her room size etc.

I would frame it without adding any trims, so the focus would stay on the commandments for the teen.
