Adorable, and so little. I think that would make me a little crazy. I had trouble turning clothes for a larger doll. I would need more special tools for sure! She looks spectacular, along with the cake.

This is STUNNING! My little 6yr old gd would LOVE an outfit like this for her Barbie doll! Would you mind letting me have the pattern number if possible so that I can see if I can find it here in South Africa please? It may still be available! I am not a good at sewing clothes but making dolls clothes should be easy with a pattern! If not I can always ask a friend! LOL

Can you also please explain how you made the cake? You are SO creative!

Thanks a million!

This was a McCalls pattern 6317 It says on envelope 1993. Has several outfits. This was view A. The cake I made circle with hole circle inside to cut out for flame, drew some flowers like for icing then measure around side of tea light made rectangle to fit put some zig zag icing lines then to machine stitched out on felt cut out then used glue gun less heat type and tacked the top on top & the side on side of tea light. The tray lol I cut piece of old box cut elastic glued underneath so it could be put on dolls hands so she can carry the cake.

Thanx so much! I just managed to purchase a new pattern on eBay! May have a problem with the tea light as I have never seen them here in South Africa - well not where I live!

If don't have tea light use card board behind and make a tube candle to place in middle . Lol just play. I feel older than dirt sometimes but I have original Barbie and believe me when I started playing with her she did not have tons of stuff right away. So I had to dream up what would make a neat bed, lamp, house etc. Then one year I got the cardboard dream house. Then that kept me out of Mom's hair for hours and hours. She had to hunt me up.

Wow! I made Barbie clothes when my daughter was little and a few for my granddaughters, but got into American Girl doll clothes for a while. I totally need a doll when I am sewing these clothes. Patterns alone don't do the trick

Doll does help. start thinking of all kinds of things once the outfit goes on. Guess it is the little girl within.

Beautiful! When my girls were little, I made a huge box of Barbie clothes for them for Christmas. That was before I had an embroidery machine though. She'll be thrilled with these.
