I love your quilt...I also love scrap quilts. I have one in progress now similar to the one I posted here. I made one a long time back in the log cabin style...Keep up the good work and make another one of scraps.
This is quite beautiful and I'm sure she will treasure it. Thanks for inspiring us, too.
thanks ...while reorganising my small sewing room I keep finding more "leftover" fabric....soozie
Very nice.I also like quilts when something unespected happens
I checked out her video and liked it too. I can't see making that many pin holes in my wall wall but I like the idea of bagging the sizes. I guess you could figure out how many you needed for as many blocks as you wanted to make. You must have been a cutting machine for those days! I wonder how much bigger it would be if you used the 2.5 inch strips ... will figure that out later. I really like your sashing and corner stones. Looks like some interesting fabrics too! Thanks for sharing this.
I did not make any pinholes in my wall either I tried stick tape but the bags got too heavy and fell off I ended up putting them in plastic containers dividing them into 2 sections and labelling them worked well...soozie
Your sashing really pulled this quilt together. I love scrappy quilts and enjoyed seeing yours!
Thanks Penny I really enjoyed making it and using leftovers is a bonus...soozie
Oh my, you are fast on the peddle - wll we used to have pedals! Lol! It is gorgeous! Do you pick the colors before hand or do all your scaps just balance themselves in the quilt.
No not so fast the cutting took 5 days and I keep finding more leftovers to cut the colors just seem to fall into place with just a little sorting it turned out really big almost a King size........soozie
wow Soozie that is wonderful! Can you share the link here for the utube video, I would love to have 4 ready to quilt in 5 days wow it takes me forever! hugs loralye

This is beautiful, I made 2 last year and need to make more.
Lovely - thanks for sharing this with me. I have found that if you have a few minutes to spare - Make a square ! Another quilt will be ready before you know it.
so true the cutting out takes most of the time the actual sewing of one block takes abut 10 minutes...soozie
you make me envious, I wish I could just get in and stitch something like this, I have so much fabric plus left overs here, I just need to DO DO DO it...this is truly a lovely quilt, so well done Cute friend.
Nicely done! I am happy you showed us your beautiful work.
Sew colorful. You did an awesome job. An to do them so fast. Wow.
