Phew is right! Here I was complaining about our postal service, and they actually did the extra work of finding the right postal code (is e1c 0a8, but was addressed to ec1 018). I am very happy with my lovely gifts. Thank you again, Secret Santa. Now to figure out who she is...what a puzzle!!

Wow...nice! Love the pincushion...it looks like it is one that will "stay put" on the arm of a chair or your sewing table as not to have to "chase" it around...and the Needle Mate is the perfect companion...so glad Meganne shared her design with us so we could all enjoy her talents, too! 6803Sorry for the lateness of this post, but with a wedding today, family over from Canberra, Christmas and gastro I have not even turned on my computer. I recieved by Secret santa gift two day before christmas, but didnt open it until boxing day because I was at my daughters. My SS sent me a beautiful hand towel embroided with an angel fish in teals, a teal coloured glasses case and two FSL tree ornaments, I am very grateful for her work, it is just gorgeous and fits me so well. You will notice the glasses case is the same colour as my glasses. Thankyou so much Secret Santa

30656Apologies for the delay in posting due to visitors and family over the Christmas holidays. Here is my beautiful SS gift. I am going to hang it up where it can be seen. The picture does not do it justice at all. The fabric round the edge of the quilting is patched in a interesting way and the fabric has a delicate gold pattern on All the coloured fabrics have a pattern on and are in the brown, gold, tan shades and one has some vivid blue on. All totally delightful. It is very humbling to think that someone has spent a lot of time creating this beautiful piece of work for me. I have taken part in all the SS Christmas swaps and it really is BRILLIANT. Thanks again to Sue who arranges this so well for us to enjoy. I am going to see if its possible to take and upload a better picture. So thank you/danke to the wonderful German cutie who created my super present. ( And I hope you love what you have received too)

76409Sorry I posted it so late as I got the gifts 2 weeks ago. My Secret Sister made a super cute stuffed duck(I think) for my little Lily and a lovely dark green ornament where you can put a picture inside.
Very thoughtfully she made a template for the picture. She also included a very nice card (which I will photograph later).

My Secret Santa gifts just arrived from Canada! I'm absolutely thrilled to bits with them! I got a lovely casserole carrier made out of cotton and lined with navy terry cloth, the front reads "Bon Appetit" and the back is embroidered with "Make Thyme to live, love and laugh", a kitchen towel that reads "WIshes won't do dishes" and a serving spoon!

Meganne, I'm too afraid to go to the Chinese website. The last time, they got my information and well over $1,000. It took time, but I did get the money back because it was clearly fraud. (Also, I had to take my computer in because it kept "calling China." Now the computer needs to be completely wiped and reloaded.)

32767WOW! I am blown away with the beautiful gifts I received I think my SS must know me well I received package about 4pm on Christmas Eve that is one way to stop me opening the gift before Christmas day. I am not good at waiting.
As with Meg my photos do not do them justice 2nd photo is quite dark.
Just gorgeous FSL butterfly bowl, FSL Santa & Santa stocking for my fibre optic tree. These arrived in a large cardboard box all sticky taped with aust post tape that is soooooooooo hard to get off took me ages to open the box what a huge surprise.
Then when I opened the card the beautiful butterfly magnet fell out. Just wonderful Thank you, thank you love your gifts SS - I love you hope you are having a really wonderful Christmas. Sally

148928Don't have a way to upload the gorgeous gifts from my SS, so I'll describe. First, a big, fat cushioned overstuffed chair pincushion, complete with a heart shaped pillow at the back. Then, a bright green flowered tea towel with flower and coffee cup appliques and a contrasting edge, very well planned for color and design. Last, a pair of fingertip towels with a scrolly and pair of butterflies, just the right size design for the little fingertips. Last - a glittered Christmas card, which is what I always received from the maid who helped raise me for 34 years. A lovely reminder of her, long after she is gone. (She knew children love glitter.) It is humbling to receive a gift from a stranger! Thank you forever.

Try as I may I could not get a photo good enough to do it justice as it is the most exquisite, intricately beaded, old fashioned Santa Clause, with fantastic shading and it shines and glistens like sunshine on new fallen snow.

The bag is made from hessian with a lovely design of a New England, Maine, beach house. it has a wooden base, so it is very sturdy. There was also a set of 4 coasters, embroidered with 2 views of my very favourite animals, greyhounds. It's even a design that I don't have -amazing, LOL. Thankyou so much, Secret Santa. 23163Here we are 30min from Canberra heading south for a few days with our Mothers in Victoria . Seasons greetings to all. I received and opened my gift. Oh i am so so lucky. I just love to bits and back my hoot owl pincushion/ sissor holder. I have been eyeing of this pattern for yonks. Now i dont know where it came from>>>> Except from Springwood :)

You'll have a great reminder of Cute as you attend classes, Monika. I guess you could always use iced tea in it until we get cooler weather again :) I rather like that banner applique alphabet. It's great to see the variety of gifts everyone has!
