Red hibiscus cushion .Design is from Artful Hibiscus set by Kreations by Kara. Asked husband to pick me a red hibiscus from a neighbours bush to get an idea of colours to use ,put in a glass of water & the next day it was dead.Don't know if the flower was old or it was too hot in my sewing room.

Here, the blossoms vary in size and color, single and double and only last a day. Some are nicknamed: "Dinner Plate" The rich, dark, shiny leaves are also pretty.

10335FYI - I would have been dead anyway, at least here in Colorado they bloom for 1 day only, then another starts, when it is done the next begins. i do not know if this was because of the age of the bush, I am sure there are more than 1 flower at a time per plant, right?
