Dear Carolyn, it's beautiful. I was showing my husband the thermometer and he asked me -
"Where does she live?"
So can you please write back and let us know what part of Canada you are from. Love Chris

Very pretty, Carolyn........love the cross stitch.....
That is a lovely cloth for Valentine/Winter. Guess I can't complain as we are getting -20F/-28C and that is only in wind chills.
Lovely work!
I think you need a new thermometer...the one you have is stuck in the negatives LOL It reminds me of the old days when I lived in Northern Canada...it was nice that everything below -15 F feels the same. "You just die quicker" was something I remember everyone saying about the colder temps. Stay inside and stay warm! BTW The windows have ice on the inside...lol
yes the window ice as i got my humidifier running cause wood heat drys you up:):)You lived up here were???So maybe you wanta change places and revisit the cold eh??
I lived in Northern BC up in the mountains.
No -- it is cold enough for me here. I do miss the fresh mountain air and the beautiful scenery though. I will just keep looking at pictures. It is cheaper and not nearly as cold. LOL
Nice work!! I missed the one arm thing. Are you OK? Kay
Her doctor could not get her to hold still -- so he put her thumb/arm in a purple cast.
yes kinda** my arm is wrecked from years of use lifting heavy wood mostly as my hubby is blind i do some mens work and i guess i have slowed down cause it caught me lol
I am sorry. We are all falling apart. I do relate to that. Maybe you could lay the wood on a tarp and drag or use a wheel barrow. I am having trouble lifting the trash bags. I have been on my own in this house for 21 years. I know what you are going through. Kay
Your work is beautiful. I can not believe you pulled all those threads with just one arm. Keep warm and dry.
Beautiful job! OMG, it is cold there, I am thankful that we are having good weather, tomorrow is supposed to be 65 degrees. Hugs to you, stay warm.
Beautiful table scarf. Your colder of course but it is falling my direction. Guess you share that too, lol. Snow load today and getting 20 to 30 mph with drifts. I see them in your back ground. We are dropping around 0 and show some just ahead with 20 some below. Thankful I got my club house to play in and warm.
yes were i sit my wood stove is thee other side of the wall .Very warm maybe 80 lol hugs
I see it's still cold out, we dropped to 7° F which is a heat wave for you probably. Your embroidery looks very nice! I see you're resting. Haha!!! (not)
Looks fantastic, and just the ticket for Valentine's Day. How you do things with only one wing is beyond me!
You sure did a lovely job on this! be sure not to overdo my friend! Husg Loralye
