All I can say about this weather is... It's freezing way up here in the northland. Stay warm and think summer. My camper is hurried under the snow but I'm still thinking camping. I'm way up north.
It was -19 F. here in central Minnesota this morning. Didn't hear the wind chill. Tomorrow is supposed to be colder. Staying indoors
Here in Oregon...we are chilly...the sun is peeking through the trees...frost on the ground,,,,but is a good day to be out n about with friends from church....STAY WARM.....
I hear and feel ya, we had in the minus 50c with wind chill last week and today it is 0c and calling for rain and freezing rain, what is mother nature up to ?
Sewfrenzie, what part of Minnesota do you hunker down in? I live in the SE corner on the Mississippi. I have a daughter that lives in Eveleth and they get the kind of weather that you are talking about. We were there on the 4th of July once and saw SNOW.
Central Minnesota out in the country away from towns and cities. So even colder, lol! This morning -30 with -60 wind chills. Not going anywhere unless its an EMERGENCY!

Oh my, do I remember those temperatures! Please be careful.
At one time I lived both in Montana and North Dakota, I can relate to what you are saying about the cold. Brrrr. I do not miss the winters out your way. My daughter lives in Minnesota and she tells me of the cold. She hates it and is ready to see a break in the weather. Stay warm . Hugs, Mary
No fun we have this all the time when it gets that/this cold hugs
I'm not looking forward to the next couple days of wind chills in the negative either hear in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Besides the buses not wanting to start in those fridge temperatures the school kids will not be waiting for a bus that isn't coming. They haven't announced yet what they will do about closing or keeping our local schools open but we are supposed to get freeing drizzle so that could keep our schools from opening. Stay in and warm.
Now that is really cold. I would not go out for anything. How are most of the homes heated? I heard that there is a shortage of oil in the northeast. Happy Stitching!
I can't speak for others but I heat with natural gas. I used to use oil but gas is cheaper and cleaner.
I have seen the images on TV. I can not even imagine to living under these circumstances. The weather is gone crazy. I my part of the world we are worried about not enough rain and a water shortage.
