Sue you always surprise me I never know what you will show us next...she is a little sweetie. well done.
Adorable! I'm working on a sea creature themed baby blanket. This would make a great add-on gift! Well done.
LOL, Sue, now I see what you mean by great minds thinking alike!! This little one is darling!
Sue, is there somewhere I can purchase the design to make one of these? She is really cute, and I'd like to make a black mermaid for a friend who just had a baby in Dec. I made a swaddler with a black mermaid baby stitched on it. A doll to match would be so adorable!
Be patient for a few days - when I have finished tweaking the design it will be available from Yoriko's site.
Hi,
I like it the way it is, after all is for a small girl and they don't care, It's nice. the simpler the better
She looks alright just as she is.
kind regards

sue do you have a turning tool for dolls, if not try a biro pen without the refill, and something like a satay stick, blunt end , is used, put the tube inside the part to turn (arm, fin) this is with rightside still inside, tube in upto the very end hold tube and push the blunt end into the tube where the end is and it will start to turn, hermostats are usefull to, there like a long thin pair of tweezers to gt hold of the part you are turning. hope you can understand, hard to explain...wendy
I think your idea using a biro and satay stick is a brilliant idea, I'll be trying this myself. Thanks for sharing your idea with everyone.
kind regards

I use a pair of blunt ended dissecting forceps. I wouldn't be without them!
Adorable and nice shape. You know the little girls are going to love this.
What a sweet doll!! My two GDs would love this one! Good job!
She looks beautiful just as she is. At least her face is pretty to me not scary looking. I like the glittery look on her suit.(I'm afraid of clowns(??)
Great job. You've been busy!
Great job! I love the colors! I have a little one that wants one, but I think I would play with her on bubble bath nights!!!
You have so many great ideas. This will be a great project. Too bad I only have great grand sons.
I agree!!!But it is beautiful...She will be a winner...
this is so pretty, my nieces would like this, as would any little girl.
Sue, you are so smart and crafty! Wish I could do half of what you do.

Sue, She is so Cute, I am so far behind and there is so much I want to stitch! I think I need to stitch her for sure!
May I suggest a nose? You know I was not happy with my dolls noses....or maybe just do the nostrils. They must be hard to get to look right, but how would I know,I sure can't digitize.-LOL Sue,you are doing so well with your digitizing/designing. As the saying goes,'you've come a long way, baby' and it seems to me,a very short time.Maybe not to you,though.-Toogie
Cute!!! I like her just the way she is.... Thank you for your great designs.
well, I think she is totally cute!
a little blush applied to her cheeks always seems to help a doll I find. Just a really soft color......You did a super job though!!!
Very cute Sue. I like her face as is. I can can see a touch of organzia, mylar behind the scalloped hips down to the fins.
I like this mylar idea for the scales.See how nice it is to share ideas.I think all my 'bright ideas' are over, my bulb must be burnt out.-LOL
