This embroidery is marvelous on satin fabric.
Could you explain to me what sort of fabric is "batting', I have not found in the dictionary?
You have no problem with glue? when I use glue, my needle become covered with glue, and do not work correctly, ans thread break.Your embroidery on satin is so nice.
What a great work!
Bonjour Claudenicolas
Alors bonne chance

Stunning! But then that's to be expected from you! You do such awesome work!
What inspiration! I have not done anything so detailed in a VERY long time and now I am feeling the urge. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing. Hugs. Nan W
Thank you,
If this is the inspiration for a new project, my job is complete lol, that is the reason for posting in projects, to inspire others.

Absolutely astonishing, but well worth the effort especialy when you see the recipients face... that's what makes the work worthwhile for me..
You used satin fabric for this beautiful tree shirt but did you have to worry about hoop burn etc? Also what type of stablizer did you use? I am asking these questions because I have some taffeta ( probably polyester)& silk fabric that I would like to embroider with high count designs but I don't want to ruin it ,so I have put off even thinking about doing it.
Good morning
yes I used satin but I padded it with batting, I would never try to embroider this many stitches on just the satin, way to dense. I spray glue the fabric to the batting and then used my extra large hoop. No fabric burn and I used a light tearaway (1.5 oz). You could use your satin to make lovely tablerunners or tree skirts like mine but not sure what to do with the taffeta, much more delicate,
good luck
Thank you for the info.Found some more satin while looking for nylon lyrca to make husbands swimmers.
OMG. You have outdone yourself this time. This makes me feel quite useless. Last year was a terrible year for me, not much emb done at all. I need to kick myself in the backside and start to do something for myself this year. Still need that extra day. heeheehee. hugs Marg
Thank you Marg,
I think if you start with a project for yourself you my get the push you need to get back into it. Take a look at your ''to do list'' (we all have one) and she what tickles your fancy. Important thing is to have fun.

pppfffff a lot of stitches, but so worth it: so beautiful!!
Wow Wow Wow. My daughter said when I showed her ;When are you going to do one for me putting this on one half & a Australian Summer scene on the other half so when our christmas;s are hot I;ll put the winter scene to the front & when its cold I put the Ausie scene to the front. We had a good laugh as I think she had it back to front
Very pretty! Looks worth the stitches and thread changes.
