Christine...did your owl ever return home to the nest? ...and what was the gold specialty fabric you used for the eyes? They really pop!
I have never seen it since. I bought a long time ago, and did not use it because it frays so badly, however for this it is perfect. I know it is not a lame. I will look at Joann when I go next, I did not get blue...
As far as the bird, he showed up, decided he wants to walk instead of fly, and looking for feet!
See! Your owl is so well done that it flew off (with help) to its new home. I guess you need to make another one and put it where it can't see the door.
She is so cute, I love it. Great job!
I had done one in black and white cow fabric and yellow around the eyes. It does stich out nicely especially the eyes. I put a loop on the top of mine for a baby's room. I only used fleece or flannel for my tummy, your lacey tummy is so cool!! Perfect for the girls!
With all the arctic weather we are having I'm going to call it a Snowy Owl. It's lovely.
It is nice to spend sewing/emb time with our family.I think DIL's is pretty, maybe prettier than yours,is why it flew the coop!-LOL Nice job,girls!-Toogie
That is what I get for stitching wings on it. Lol! The time together is what makes it wonderful. She goes back to school on Sunday, so it begins again.
