My snowman has been given away so I decided to make myself a new holder before I changed my mind & forgot altogether. ITH Design comes from Embroidery Garden. Added a tip @ the bottom as well

Liked your tip a lot. This Santa has some nice face detail. Was that a stippling design in the beard or fancy fabric?

He is really cute - would make great stocking stuffer gifts for next year, along with some of your snowmen. Nice job!

while making this ITH project I learned something: I have no ink to print off the pattern & as we all know applique with batting & then material can be hard to trim really closely so I ran the placement line over tearaway paper & then used this as a pattern to cut the batting then placed it over the placement line & then the fabric & ran the placement line again..........fit perfectly

Nice one....

excellent tip and quicker than the hand drawn template method I have been trying to use. Lol! The worst part is I have done this before - using the polyester pattern material.

Very cute! I'm glad you remembered to make one for yourself. I'm always forgetting to do that.
