Thanks to all cuties for thoughts and prayers. It seems that my husband has a bad flu virus. We went to the clinic on Friday and the doctor did lab tests. While talking to the tech we were told that this particular virus has been making its rounds here. ( Chills, fever, headache, muscle aches ) She said that both she and her husband had it for 2 weeks! DH still feels awful but a little of our anxiety has lifted knowing that this will pass. Thanks again so much for listening.

I am so glad you let us know how he is.You both have been in my prayers.I hope he can overcome this and the sooner, the better.It hasn't touched here but a friend works in a hospital about 1 1/2 hours away, and she said it's bad.We are in the states,don't know where you are.I hope the next news is he is well and you haven't caught it._Toogie

Can't say I'm glad it's the flu, but relieved they have given you a diagnosis so you know how to proceed. Speedy recovery.

One always has a sense of relief when they have a diagnosis. Hope he recovers soon.

Thank goodness, Nadyne! Well, I'm sure the flu is bad enough, but at least it is identifiable. Praying for him and for a hedge of protection around you!

Good news. I hear this flue is making the rounds in the States and that it has a tendency to lead to a relapse. Hope your husband will feel well soon.
