I love your fantastic stash of fabrics, what fun so many different sorts too.your room looks great just what the doctor ordered
Hugs Pam..
Very nice room!!! I love your stash too, we can't have too much can we? I thought Toogie had more than me then I looked at it again and thought well I have a lot too but yet bought some more at Hobby Lobby on sale, hahaha!!! Then you know when you see me on here, my fabric isn't getting sewn so the stash will just grow. It I can pry my little fingers off the keyboard then maybe.............
Well done, love what you have done with it. Love all the fabrics
you sewing room looks great you don't have to go bay fabric never lots project to make .Happy sticking.Maria
Thanks Maria, and lol I do sometimes still need a yd or two as what is there may not be color, fabric type or something I just got the urge for. I do pass up some these days but lol I do look just the same. I never turn down fabric someone throwing away. That just bothers me knowing it could be something special for someone.
Hi Mary,I am doing mine.I need to get some clear containers for my fabrics,so I can see what I have.I would like smaller ones,so I could handle them better, but I have to stack and I am afraid the bottom ones will break with the load.
I would have loved closet doors on one wall but you do what you can as it comes. The white baskets pictured 4 have wheels on bottom I loved the handle. I pull those out and have fleece folded large size one and smaller stacks in another. One has towels, one white fabrics, one larger felt. Above those is smaller baskets sturdy on shelf so they pull back or out and I have from organza in two, upholstery squares three, vinyl faux leather one and smaller felt in one. Lol and few misc hides behind the baskets. I measured and went out digging till I was content with what I knew I could do with at the time. I know some stack nice if you can only go with stack and I am sure you will have a great looking room. This room is 12x14 one side ceiling sloped so that kept me from a nice 8 foot wall on that one basket side or it would have been done different and I am sure looked more spacious. I am happy and that is what counts. hugs
Wow, I hope my craft room gets this organised.
I hope your craft room is even better organized. hugs Mary. I still need to hit couple of the plastic drawers.
Looks good. You could stay there all winter long and not need any supplies.
He,he that is how this grew as it has. lol. Every time I am out near and I am laughing a fabric source, Thrift Store, fabric store, Walmart. Friends I tend to drag it home and my thought always is.... As winter hits I will have plenty to do. Well winter carries into rest of year more and more. I crafts of all kinds very happy.
Last sentence above supposed to say I love crafts of all kinds, very happy.
What an amazing room. I am so envious. I have to tidy away everything after using my machines as I just have a sewing corner in my sitting/ day room. All my materials are in baskets in cupboards in my spare bedroom.
I have this room together but believe me a couple others around here need help. My dining room is tore apart I don't eat at a table. I eat at a bar style table set up in kitchen on stool. I hope for an addition to turn into large room with dining off kitchen area and the room that was dining into a spare room for guests or my mother if needed, and for my weaving loom. I have been itching to set up for over 2 years. I hope you can see ways and get to where you would like to be and accomplish. I am glad I have this and at times wonder if I need to just grow a building. Would be nice if it worked that way. hugs Mary
Wow! You have a great load of fabric and so organized. I definitely have to get at it. We're moving long distance in a month and I'll get organized in the new house! I told hubby that he "owes" me a big sewing room to make up for moving so far from family. Lol --Sandra
You are so organized. I am stuffed so tight into a small room that my stuff is now stacked and stocked through the entire upstairs. My husband tells people I can't shut the door or the room would explode.
Glad to see you !!!! Hugs and thanks for compliment as I tear this room up daily..... guess that is a good thing too.
Love that imagination of your door closed and all your fabric and sewing stuff bursts out with a loud bang *lol* Seems your hubby has a good humor ;o)
My kind of woman. my problem is my stuff has creeped down the hall. love it!
I can't test out the hall it is close to stairs not a good idea. If I grow any more it is new room or building.
You have got some stuff! I am impressed with your organization.
Lol I thought that the past couple days ironing folding that I had some......... stuff. Also thought am I nuts? Yeah! I got my answer to that yesterday afternoon when I looked out window and lo and behold I had a squirrel on window ledge starring in at me. He does that every once while to stir my dog up.
Wowwwwwwwww looks awesome Mary .When you say comes up are u in thee attic or upstairs in a room???Love the big bright windows ,to help us see .hug
Kids room I took over upstairs. My hubby is electrician. I have fancy set up electrically. Lights, machine etc. work even when no electric. I only have the one window. It over looks big field.
Good job!
This is next on my list...
I was amazed I pulled out two of baskets with felt sat up ironing board and stayed at it and next thing I knew I was done and now know which colors I don't have lol. I am always watching for fabric. I hope you get there and get to enjoy. Hugs Mary
Well, you to have been a busy beaver, doesn't it feel good to knaw through all the clutter,
keep up the good work, I feel for you LOL
I got some barrels with lids full of stuff in building outdoors. I don't get bored lol.
