hugs micheline
I have added instructions for this in community, it is really very easy to make. To make your first one try it out then if you need any changes you can go from there. I made the blue one first in a thinner fleece more for a practice then got it & made the yellow one out of thicker fleece.
Great job, Loralye! I could use some of these since we're heading back below zero next week.
These look very nice and warm. I have been looking for something like this for my son but I haven't had any luck. You just came up with this, just by looking at someone else's project. You are so talented. I 'm a beginner at sewing could you help me so I can make one for my son?
I will post some instructions for everyone in community sewing. I'm sure that you can make one too I just hope that my instructions are ok
They turned out really nice. These look great to keep the cold air out of the ears and neck.
These are beautiful, well done! You have inspired me to try to make one. I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia and this would be perfect to protect my face. Thank you ♥
My hubby has these and I did not know their name. I just called them helmet liners. I love the fleece idea as the ones he has is a durable cotton lined with flannel.
yes they have been called helmet liners too. Soilders used to wear them under the helmets to keep dry & warm. Thanks Mary, hugs
I had never heard of these until I saw Carolyn's and what a great idea....
fleece is on sale and the patterns are limitless, you can also embroider on them......I really like the colors here, especially the yellow....great job, Loralye!
Glad i inspired someone today hugs:):)
Oh they look wonderful hugs
Not just pretty but useful too. You did a great job on these
Wonderful gift for hubby...and for yourself! It gets so cold out there in the dark morning hours clearing the snow.
we are in the minus category & that is not counting the wind chill so these will be very handy to have! Thank you & hugs ***
