Does Ashley have a favourite animal??
I think a little butterfly or a bunny or a cat in the lower left hand quadrant would be nice.
A butterfly could be angled to be flying towards the rose.. What do think cfidl??
Hi Patricia, Welcome to Cute, I had to put it up for today, so I think you will have to come back and see for yourself. I have to find fabric again, so it may be a day or so. Thanks for commenting.
Christine. I think leave as is . It would be too busy if you added anything else. Otherwise I am in love with it. Well done . Lucky Ashley. Love the Font . Pauline :)
Thank you Pauline, I think I am going to make it bigger and this be the center.
A small pink heart in the lower left.
I agree with Granny. I always like to add at least a tiny unexpected design or color. It looks a little bare on the lower left and a small embroidered rosebud or something would do the trick IMHO. Suzanne
Very pretty as is!!!Not so busy
yes it is one of my better pieces, I am still not sure about the bud color, too late now!
I'm rather fond of it the way it is. Great rose and letters.
It is lovely as it is. After you decide what you are going to make with it a pink piping around the edge may set it off.
Lovely! Whatever you are using it for, It is good the way it is now, simple but elegant.
Hi Christine..this looks lovely..nice job...but before I can answer as to what I think might be needed....I need to know what it might be...pillow, table topper, something you plan to frame, wall hanging...but nice job so far!
The functionality of this piece is back to undecided, I though it was to be a mug rug or perfume mat, now I am not sure.
under the ashley you could do a 16, if you feel it needs something else. very nice.
I too am wondering what it is, Please tell us. I love what you have done. Beautiful. Lovely name also.
Thank you everyone, I do believe I have to answer the question "What is it?" and I do not know, I think I will follow your advice and go simple, and in doing so I also think I need to go bigger. I'll be back!
Hi,
I agree with graceandham - just add a rosebud with a few leaves in the left bottom corner. Perhaps a corner design - one rosebud up, and one 90 degrees to that one, both with leaves and connected in the corner. Beautiful!

I love it just as it is, and I agree with the "Less is Best" comments. What a beautiful job you did!
your design is beautiful just as it is if you really want to add to it add a rose on the other side of the name but other wise I would leave it as is
No. do not introduce another subject or colour. It is lovely as it is, but if you feel like adding, stick to the theme of 'roses'
C'est très joli!
Tout depend de l'usage que vous comptez en faire ? Peut-être broder de toutes petites roses éparpillées sur toute la surface !
Personnellement, je trouve le dessin très bien ainsi.
I like it as is, except you could add a gingham border on bottom or micro polka dots, if you just want to enhance with fabric. It's very sophisticated as is and quite beautiful.
It is very nice as is, but the question is what will it be?
I think the corner under Ashley needs something, maybe a small rose bud and a few leafs. It is beautiful.
i don't have a clue, just wanted to say my ashley rose is 22.... and she would love this! i think it is perfect...lol

Maybe just a strip of grosgrain ribbon. I ,too, am not sure what it's gonna be?
This is truly beautiful, some kind of skinny twirly border could work?
Great job, Christine.....
I'm in agreement with Carolyn. I think it's absolutely perfect as it is now. 'Less is more' at times :) You have done a lovely job on this. The pinks are especially gorgeous.
