119791These are pretty and no WSS unless I'm doing one of those tea lights. If it is thin felt sometimes tear away. Felt is so easy to stitch on except for the lint it leaves behind.

318323No, I don't use WSS on felt. I think you especially wouldn't need it on this design as it isn't separate letters, but the letters are on a filled in area.

23281I'm like Gerry; I don't use any stabilizer when I use felt either. The fabric is its own stabilizer and works just fine. This saves time and money on stabilizer. I'm like you--I hate to waste time picking off bits of stabilizer! LOL

5660I don't use a topper & often not even stablizer! Depending on how many stitches. But in the directions from emb garden for the tealight covers, you just hoop your felt without stablizer...may want to try one to see how it does.
