I was telling a cute friend thee other day about quilting a quilt my easy way .This is just a yard and a half on each side 45 wide!!

Looks great! Lot's of hooping and time which I'm sure will be appreciated. I use the emb. machine to do quilting also. the hard part comes when you do large quilts. But it does save time and I think looks nice. The serged edge certainly will do the job. However, a binding would probably last longer and be more durable. I think bindings are like picture frames they show off what's inside.

I quilted some times the same way, its hard to work with big projects as a blanket, but it looks great. Which maschine are you using? I can show my last big in the hoop quilted project.
