Beautiful Jan and what a wonderful way to show off these attributes for all the people who have this syndrome. Love Chris
Their choice of words is most humbling. An excellent job and you have every right to be both pleased and proud.
I Googled the syndrome and became educated. Thank you for sharing how these parents view their children. True, true love. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for doing that! This is one of the syndromes my son has. The kids have lots of challenges, and are really friendly and sweet.
Beautiful work. I'm wondering, how big is this banner. Where is it going? Did you print this on your regular printer? Thanks so much, for sharing. Carole
It is just a jpg banner that probably will never be printed. It is for the top of the facebook page for the Koolen De Vries Syndrome group. My son, Ben, who is 25 years old has this syndrome, so I am a part of this group. I asked the parents to give me some words that they would consider tools in their survival toolboxes, and made this banner from what they told me. Aren't they awesome!
I am so touched by each of these sentiments all the way down to my soul. Aren't these the tools we want for all of our children/grandchildren, no matter their abilities? This is just a beautiful banner and it was worth all of your hard work.
Thank you. I think we need to add Laughter and Gratitude, but I only had so much space!
Nicely done...these are words we should all appreciate and live by...regardless of what life challenges we endure....this would make a wonderful table runner, too!
Wow, you have a blend of the practical, emotional, and spiritual. Something that serves both body and soul...as we were created. Two of my daughters are dealing with severely challenged children, and I can see how each of the words you have written apply to the days of their week. Very well done!!
Thank you. The words were given to me by the parents - so that really makes sense. I have taken off Endurance and replaced it with Gratitude because one parent really wanted it added! Wow, two grandchildren with super challenges!
Kudos to you. I think this is wonderful! This shows the world that our folks who are challenged in one way or another not only have value but are blessings to the world.
Words we all need/should use, for survival.Great job!
It's Beautiful! You did an awesome job with your creativity and designing on this Banner! It is for a good cause too. I believe these are words to encourage good fruit in anyone's life!- Susan A.
Thanks, Susan, I've had a hard time getting my creativity going lately :-)

Excellent banner I love it so very true as words for us all to hold onto.
