Take time to smell the coffee. I made the first one a while back and thought it was lacking something. Made the ruffle and quit. Does it help?

That's a terrific design! I'd be afraid that when I washed it, the ruffles would need ironing. The ruffle fabric is the perfect color match for this towel!

You are probably correct. I usually do iron my cotton kitchen towels with a steam iron very lightly. I just fold my terry kitchen towels. Kay

I like the original since I am not a lover of ruffles. If I thought it needed anything more (which it doesn't) I would have added just a flat band.

I tried pressing the ruffle flat. Perhaps you would like it better. I got the idea from the lady that blogs on Ann the Grand site. She was embellishing tea or kitchen towels. Oh, well, back to the drawing board!!!! Kay

I have the foot but have never tried it, looks too complicated.
