My daughter has introduced me to arm knitting & this scarf only took less then an hour to make..........well it takes me a little longer then it does her. But it turned out really well & can be worn single or doubled. I had to promise not to show her face she is "camera shy" lol which is incredably ironic as she is a professional photgrapher

Nice scarf! Like that it can be used in different ways. Never heard of arm knitting. Have to check it out. Sobezy

Thanks for the information and link. it's fascinating and I've sent it to my grand-daughter in AZ to see if she is interested in creating a scarf for herself. Do they have cold weather in AZ enough to make this an interesting project???

No cold in Arizona! I should be in Arizona every winter and here in Denver during the hot summers!

Lovely lovely scarf.. I have heard of this but not tried it yet.. How much and what type yarn to get a scarf on this size..

I used a 6 weight & I used 2 balls @ the same time. It also depends on the tension you create but 2 balls will be plenty as I have some left over.

yes I have this posted too, great minds think alike LOL. I wathed the video 3 times & then when my daughter showed me what to do I knew what she was talking about & it really is very quick to make

It looks so warm and cozy. I have not heard of arm knitting either. Is there somewhere we can go to find instructions or a video? Hugs, Susan
