I have gone back to basics with these mugrugs. The design is from tajtiana at her stickbaer blog. I think strip ITH is easier for me than applique cutting ITH, so I am all for Sue's new projects, the redwork pieces are stitchouts, and since I have yet to hand close them they are still UFO's. Do we have an acronym for completed works?

I like WIP better than UFO, because UFO feels like its lost.

Thank you Vicki, many of my stitchouts will not fit in this scenario or I would be a happy stitcher!

Lovely :) Completed work is referred to as an FO (as in Finished Object .. not what I just realised FO usually stands for *gasp* lol) xXx

Nicely done! I like your fabric choices that go with the designs. Let's see...WIP work in progress, but I don't think I know of anything for "done."

Nice job...I have coined this method my "strip and flip"...I used this for my hexagon mug rugs...and I like it better for some things...and the reverse applique for others...nice to have a choice!

It is nice to have both, both have advantages and constraints so I will have both in my library and many frames to put around! I should be so organized. Lol! I need to try a decorative stitch, You are too cool! You have many great pieces. I think the hexmug mat is on my list, I thought I did not like this method, It is fussy cut and fussy place
