Not sure if will help many or not but my area Walmarts have some dollar a yard fabric. I just got a bolt of corduroy for 15 yd for 15 dollars plus some other yardage pieces.

I got some, rarely do they have 100% cotton at that price, I got good stuff.

Wal-Mart in my area no longer have a fabric section. They do have 2 yd. packs of limited colors. I guess a total of maybe 12 packs for crafts. I miss the fabric section to make inexpensive projects.

WOW! I wish I lived close to a Wal*Mart!

I've picked up a few bolts from there and forgot about the gold one I have sitting in the coat closet that I meant to make something fancy for Christmas. You also can order online and have them delivered to the store close to you and save on shipping. I prefer to see what I'm buying but it is a good option for those that can't get out.

Not sure on the corduroy yet. The others spring mats and the stripe or the pink rose one something for Valentine if I get there. I am currently trying my hand at quilt sewing pieces. I have hand machined, and stitched in ditch but not embroidered in putting together the sandwich part. Hopefully will have this done within next week. Seems like I get busy elsewhere a lot but I am missing drawing so this has got to get done.

This is picture of what I got and may go back they also had some neat sheer, some t shirt knits.

I just placed picture of the white in middle with tag is the corduroy. I have a hard time passing up cotton fabric corduroy, denim, well really lol a good bargain.
