Lovely tea towels. In the I have found that linen ones don't absorb the moisture as well as cotton ones. I have been looking for some tea towels to embroider but the ones available at the moment are either too small or the fabric is horrible & thin.Looks like I will have to make them from scratch again.
Fast stitch outs I just love and you took the extra step by adding the fleur des lis fabric. Extra stunning.
the fleur des lis stitch out is gorgeous! The fabric band really sets them both off! Your wing needle stitching looks beautiful when the picture is enlarged. What kind of fabric did you use? I bought some linen in the home dec area at JoAnns and am going to try that... anybody else try that yet? I thought that was a good video too. Thanks for sharing these and maybe inspiring me to get moving.
I use Kona Cotton. It is a little more stable than the less expensive kind. I have not used linen but will probably try linen next. Thanks for looking and sharing your feedback
I swear - I could go thru a bolt of kona snow every month if I could afford it! You know I'd be happy to win a lottery that just gave me a thousand a month. I don't need millions. I love kona cotton. How will you finish the edges?
Good work! Those designs add a sophisticated look to the kitchen! Did you stitch on the little designs below/above the fabric band, or is it part of the material? I can't tell on my computer.
I used a wing needle and stitched the border. Added stabilizer on top as the video on U Tube suggested.
Too nice to use!! Your designs and fabric are perfect together.
Beautiful! I looked up the first design, next sale, I think I may have to get it.
