I just about have all of my Christmas decorations down and stored. What's the hurry, right?

I remember as a child in England that decorations were supposed to come down before twelfth night. It was considered unlucky to have them still around after that date. As a family we still stick to that 'rule'. Sarah

Depends. How soon do you start putting them back up?

You all make me feel much better. I just have too much. Next year maybe I'll only put out 100 ornaments instead of 400, and only one Nativity instead of 8. Nawwww....... I love each and every ornament! And each and every Nativity!

I still have my Christmas clock up, It plays carols on the hour. My daughter reminded me this morning, that it is February. My husband is going to take it down today. But I think 1 month is not long enough to enjoy all the lovely decorations I've collected over the years.

I'm glad I'm not the only one - hubby wanted to keep the ones up in the den until after the superbowl. So now I can get to take them down. I would leave them up all year if I could

Gee if you could have waited, you wouldn't need to put them up again. LOL

I just put my Nativity set away yesterday! I love to look at it so leave it up all of January for that reason. Hugs. Nan W
